As is tradition with most MMO games, Halloween events bring quests, rewards, and fun seasonal content. Final Fantasy XIV is no different, and this time, the team has introduced one of the best mounts in the game as a quest reward: Ambulario, an automaton that has a striking resemblance to the Impresario.
If you’re fairly new to the game, like me, this is the perfect opportunity to expand your mount collection. These quests are limited-time until Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 6:59 a.m. (PST) and require a minimum level of 15 to participate. Thankfully, the quest are very straightforward and easy to complete.
First things first…
You’ll need to complete two quests to earn the mount: “Frights of Fancy” and “Dressed to Impresario.”
Head to Old Gridania, then make your way to Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. There, you’ll find the Pumpkin-headed Apparition offering the quest “Frights of Fancy.” Accept it to begin the adventure. In this quest, you’ll travel to the Haunted Manor, speak with the Impresario, and gather materials to create the automaton.
After investigating the manor and collecting the required materials, you’ll complete the quest, unlocking “Dressed to Impresario.” In this follow-up quest, you’ll use emotes to motivate the circus members… scare them into action with the pumpkin icon emote and calm the mortals with the candy icon emote.
Once you’ve finished, return to the Pumpkin-headed Apparition to complete the quest and get the Ambulario mount!
You can also find the Pumpkin-headed Apparition in Sneaky Hollow, or visit the Impresario again in the Haunted Manor. You can do that by speaking to the Genial Guiser or Unusual Usher at the Amphitheatre.
