Final Fantasy XIV is one of the biggest MMOs in terms of available content. Besides massive expansions and quests, the game also receives seasonal events. Many of these events are collaborations with other games and franchises. However, the latest event brings a collab with another Final Fantasy game: Final Fantasy XV.
The Nocturne for Heroes event brings quests with a character from XV and rewards from the same. One of these rewards is the Regalia as a mount. You can earn the popular ride, but before you do, there are some terms you need to know.
Before being able to buy the Regalia, you need the following requirements: level up your character to 50 (excluding limited jobs), and complete the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon.” If you meet these requirements, head to Ul’dah Steps of Nald, coordinates X:8.5, Y:9.7, to meet Kipih Jakkya. Accept “The Man in Black” quest from Kipih to start the event’s journey.
The first quest will have you meet Noctis, and in the next adventure you’ll help him figure out how to get back home. On the first quest, you will join the “Like Clockwork” FATE. On the next quest, you’ll fight a monster in Gridania, and lastly, you’ll fight a Primal there as well. Quests are straightforward and will be marked on your map. Completing these quests will also reward you with Noctis’ glam.
You can find the next quests in the following exact locations:
- In the Dark of Night: Ul’dah – Steps of Nald, X: 8.5 Y: 9.7
- Messenger of the Winds: New Gridania, X: 11.4 Y: 11.3
Note: Completing the Like Clockwork FATE rewards you with Unidentified Magitek, which you can use to buy FFXV Orchestrion Rolls from the Ironworks Hand in Black Brush Station on Central Thanalan.
Now, to why you’re here. With all the event’s quests completed, head to the Gold Saucer. In the Entrance Square, you’ll find an Ironworks Vendor during the event’s time period. This vendor sells the Regalia Type-G Title for 200,000 MGP. Buy it and use it from your inventory to unlock the Regalia mount.
The vendor also sells Noctis’ hairstyle and his Triple Triad card. Remember that this Vendor is available until the end of the event on October 13, 2026. So, go get it before it’s gone!
