Today, we got a rare Monday Warframe Devshort with Rebecca and Pablo back hosting. The reason we are getting a Devshort on a Monday is that some of the team will be going tomorrow to Korea for TennoVIP, where they will also conduct Devstream 197 on September 4. But before talking business, Reb shared some reminders such as the Teshin Plushie Campaign, and that the Dog Days event is officially over.
Next, Reb gave players a look at Banshee’s Deluxe Skin and showcased it with different colors. Additionally, the team gave a tease of the content coming with the Iceblade of Narin update with the Aksondol, an akimbo Tenno weapon and Narin’s signature pistols. From the little visible description, when reloading the pistols, they bring a cloud of freezing mist that inflicts status effects on enemies.
Then, Pablo went on to clarify some of the Riven Mods changes that players have expressed questions about in the upcoming system. The team clarified that “Merged stats are Deterministic. Possible limit per Riven.” and that “Existing Kuva only (no new Riven rolling resource).” The new resource they mentioned in the previous short that was going to be used for the new system, aka “Bluva,” will continue to use the standard Kuva instead. Rebecca then continues to confirm that the Plague Star event starts next week. Time for some Forma farming. Pablo also shares that Necramech slots will be removed from the store; players will get them by default, and those who bought slots will be refunded. Best of luck to the team in Korea!
